Arianrhod

Arianrhod

Arianrhod, mistress of the lunar disc
Thou dwellst in Caer Arianrhod
High fruitful mother of all beings
Mighty keeper of the circling Silver Wheel

I watch the everlasting life bestowed by thee
I feel the everlasting life bestowed by thee
I live the everlasting life bestowed by thee

Thou keepst the wheel of life forever running
I look at thy shining appearance at full moon
Thou are my guiding mistress through the coming times

 Invocation

O Arianrhod of the Silver Wheel,
By all the many names men give to thee-
We, all thy hidden children, humbly kneel
Thy truth to hear, thy countenance to see.
Here in the Circle, cast upon the Earth
Yet open to the stars - unseen, yet real-
Within our hearts give understanding birth,
Our wounds of loss and loneliness to heal.
Isis Unveiled, and Isis Veiled, thou art;
The Earth below our feet, the Moon on high.
In thee, these two shall never be apart-
The magic of the Earth, and of the sky.

Oh Arianrhod, You who are Maiden, Mother and Lover.
Lady of Initiation, You gave us our names, and gave us our weapons,
so that we may make our way through Life.
Lady of Incarnation and Keeper of Caer Silverwheel - beyond the North Wind
from You did we come, and to You shall we return.

Blessed Be!

Mark ... December 26th, 1996.

Come into My silver web
I am the change that transforms
I'll spin you a silent silken shroud
A tomb from which to be born.

I see you cringe and step aback
As you watch My scything jaws
But before rebirth must come release
'Tis one of the Dragon's laws.

Come tread My sticky spiraled path
If you wish to be free
For you'll have neither arms nor name
Lest you've the courage to confront Me.

No journey for the craven this,
To shrug away your skin
To face the mirror of your soul
And see what you have been.

No mortal mate within the glass
You'll find reflected there
Instead the Many-Petaled One
Unfolding features fair.

Come ye, balance 'tween the worlds
Be ye not afraid
Though the spears may wound you deep
And you fear yourself betrayed.

Though rooting sows may eat your flesh
Below your lonely perch
And shadowed, vast the forest lies
Between any who would search.

Yet listen to the whispered breeze
That carries you a song
Hark to the still, small voice that calls
And tells you, you belong.

Awaken from your silken shroud
And struggle yourself free
For if you'd heal your weeping wound
First sing it from its tree.

Come, leave you now, My silver web
The weaving of your fate
My strands no stronger than you can bear
Spun to guide, not decimate.

Tread the deosil path that leads you out
Changed by all you've touched
And when next caught in my sticky threads
Fear me not as much.

Invocation for Arianrhod

by: Lady Aislinn, Coven of the Mists

On this night of the full moon, we call on the Bright Lady to

join us in our circle. We await her as in times of old and in the ancient

way, for now is the time of the Mother, the time of magick and mirth.

Bright Goddess, Arianrhod, Daughter of the Great Ancestress

Don, we call on you from the ancient wild places and the sacred

springs. We call on you to descend to us from your Caer Arianrhod,

your home among the stars. We call on you, Great Goddess of the

Silver Wheel, Keeper of the Past.

Join us as we stand in the flood tide of your power, as we see

where all paths lead, which is back to you, Blessed Arianrhod. Flood

the dark hillsides with laughter, awaken us that we may see your many

gifts, bless us and protect us.

By the light of the full moon we all call hail to you, Mother,

known to some as Blodeweud, Arianrhod and Cerridwen. We ask for

your presence and bid you merry meet and blessed be!

"I Arianrhod - Chaste Goddess of the moon
dwell in Caer Sidi the castle of glass alone
three fountains rise before my chair
three rings of fire surround my bower
who dares ascend the seat of Awen in my tower

Gods journey here of a flickering fire
most precious most rare
that touches the spirit
the poets inspire and I Arianrhod
guardian of the tower, of glass is my womb
the seat is my bower

Long and white are my fingers
I unplugged my hair in the light of the moon
and ascend to my chair
Is it not my chaste beauty, a flame of desire
that draws the great peers to my true scarlet fire

I Arianrhod -Chaste Goddess of the moon
dwell in Caer Sidi the castle of glass alone
three fountains rise before my chair
three rings of fire surround my bower
who dares ascend the seat of Awen in my tower"
